Why Buy Riftbound Singles Instead of Sealed?

Ripping Origins or Vendetta boosters is a rush, no argument there. But when your deck is three cards short of complete, or you're hunting one specific Champion Legend, sealed product turns into an expensive lottery. Buying Riftbound card singles means you get the card you actually need, at a price you can see up front, without cracking twelve boosters to chase a single Epic.

For deckbuilders, that's the difference between theorycrafting a list and actually sleeving it up. For collectors, it means going straight for the alt-art or Overnumbered you want instead of praying to the pull-rate gods. Either way, singles are the smartest way to build without torching your wallet.

What to Check Before You Buy

  • Condition: We grade honestly. Near mint means near mint. Your cards arrive sleeved and protected, in the condition listed.
  • Set and collector number: That number at the bottom of the card tells you everything — which set it's from and whether it's a standard print, alt-art or Overnumbered. Prices swing hard between them, so know exactly what you're grabbing.
  • Foil vs non-foil: Rares and Epics come foil by default in Origins, but variants exist across every set. Always check the finish before you commit.

Always Buying, Always Fresh

Because we're constantly buying collections from players across the country, our Riftbound card singles never go stale. That Signature that sold out last week? Someone might trade theirs in tomorrow.

FAQs

What is Riftbound?

Riftbound is the official League of Legends trading card game, developed by Riot Games and published by UVS Games. It launched in English in October 2025 and is built around Champion Legends, Units, Spells and Gear battling for control of battlefields across the domains of Runeterra.

How do card rarities work in Riftbound?

The Origins set uses four functional rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic), plus special collector treatments such as Showcase alternate arts, Overnumbered cards, and ultra-rare Signatures. Rares and Epics come with foil treatment by default, and every rarity has a shot at appearing in a pack's dedicated foil slot.

What are Overnumbered cards?

Overnumbered cards are premium alt-art versions of the core Champion Legends, numbered above the standard set size (Origins had 298 base cards, so Overnumbered cards sit at 299 and up). They feature unique artwork from Riot's own artists and land roughly once every three booster boxes, which makes them genuine chase cards.

What's a Signature card?

Signatures are the rarest pull in the game. Foil-only versions of Overnumbered cards carrying the artist's signature in foil. Only around one in ten Overnumbered cards is a Signature, which is why cards like the Ahri Signature from Origins command such eye-watering prices.

Which Riftbound sets have been released?

The main sets so far are Origins, Spiritforged, Unleashed and Vendetta, alongside the Origins: Proving Grounds starter set and various promo releases. Riot has been rolling out new sets regularly, so the card pool keeps growing.

Are Riftbound cards tournament legal?

Yes. Standard cards, alt-arts and Overnumbered versions all play identically in competitive and casual games. Collector treatments change the look and the value, not the gameplay, so you can run your fanciest foils with no disadvantage.
